Finally have all the parts to finish off my own bike build.
Genesis Fortitude 29er
Machining bash guard to fit Deore chainset.
I wanted to use a Deore chainset with a Shimano bash gaurd.

Shimano Alfine 11 speed hub and 9 speed chain
Truing rear wheel
The rear wheel has a Mavic 'TN317' 32 hole disc rim, black anodized, Shimano Alfine 11 speed hub with Center-Lock disc, 32 hole and DT Swiss Competition spokes 268 mm on the drive-side and 270 mm disc-side with 12mm brass nipples.
The rear wheel is lased a 2 cross spoke pattern wheel build.

3 cross spoke pattern
The Alfine has a large flange hub, when lacing a wheel with a 3 cross spoke pattern, the alignment of the spoke with the nipple is slightly out and puts a bend on the spoke at the nipple end. Giving a weak point!
