2012 Rocky Mountain Altitude 50 Bike

Just added to my collection: A 2012 Rocky Mountain Altitude 50 Bike 26" and my first full suspension bike. Found this on eBay, cash price £450.00 in High Wycombe, and was better than I first thought, soon as I sat on it, it felt right.
After returning to the workshop and performing a better check over, I replaced the chain, adjusted rear wheel hub, bleed the rear brake and ordered some new brake pads. One of the rear swing arm bearing nuts had a damaged thread and not seated correctly, after removing, cleaned the thread, re-tapped and fitted using loctite, now all good to go.
It's in very good condition and all original.

Whilst most of the time when you are buying a bike or bike parts on eBay, you are buying someone else's problem and can work out more expensive than buying new. From time to time a classic or a bargain doe's turn up, a bike that has hardly been used or someone bought the wrong size.
I do highly recommend you see the bike first before you send any money, or better still view the bike and do a deal as the seller will not have any eBay or Paypal fees. Do check the seller is the owner and get a receipt. With this bike sale, I have the original bill of sale.

Old school 26" wheels and a triple chainset.

Fun ride at Swinley Forest.
My first time riding a full suspension, I rode the trails a lot faster and with a big smile.
