BIG Pedal - Pupils Are Encouraged To Cycle To School

Running this year from March 3rd to 14th, the Big Pedal is a nationwide competition between schools where pupils are encouraged to cycle instead of being driven into school.

Get Wendover Cycling 2012

Get Wendover Cycling will be organised a family bike ride on the 24th of June, starting from the Manor Waste at 14:30. A cycle mechanic will be providing free checkups from 13:30 on site. The ride includes a stop at Halton Parish Church for tea and cake. There will be two routs: a more suitable for older children will include a visit to the Trenchard Museum at RAF Halton and an esier rout through Weston Turville

Pedal Push 2012


17th Pedal Push Enjoy a cycle ride through the lovely Chilterns and  Aylesbury Vale countryside while at the same time raising money for these and other Rotary charities. You have a choice of a 25 mile route through quiet country lanes & cycle paths, 
or a medium difficulty 50 mile route (also suitable for road bikes).
Both start and finish at Saunderton, at the HQ of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Ride The Summit Sixty-Five!

An off-road cycle/MTB Sportive in the Chilterns AONB


Following the success of last year’s inaugural Summit Sixty-Five, we’re back for 2012 – bigger and better than ever on Sunday 17 June, 2012 from Cressex School, High Wycombe, just off junc. 4 M40 and within easy reach of the best trails and scenery in the Chilterns.

This year’s nominated charity is the Air Ambulance for Berks, Oxon and Bucks.  Summit is also working with British Cycling Go Ride to promote Youth MTB'ing and Wycombe District Council to "Reactivate" beginners into cycling.  By contrast the 65 mile long route is a serious challenge for experienced off-road cyclists covering over 7,500 feet of ascent and the best trails in the Chilterns.
